Project Story
Set above a quiet inlet, the pool's edge dissolves into the lake itself. We tuned the coping and waterline a quarter-inch at a time on site until the visual seam was gone — water on water, all the way out to the tree line.
Design Challenge
Resolve the visual seam between pool and lake so the water reads as a single uninterrupted plane from the great room.
Lifestyle Outcome
An owner who swims a quarter-mile in the lake every dawn and steps back into a heated pool that reads as part of the same body of water.
Unique Feature
A custom bronze weir tuned a quarter-inch at a time on site over two days until the edge dissolved completely.
